I am a registered Art Psychotherapist (HCPC & BAAT private practitioner & supervisor) offering sessions in Muswell Hill (N10), North London.
Combining my love and experience of arts with my training in psychotherapy,
I qualified as an art therapist in Lesley University.
As a bilingual therapist, I gained experience working both in English and Hebrew with children, parent-child dyads, adolescents and adults in the UK and Israel.
Working with young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties in an educational setting, I offer creative avenues such as painting, sculpture, photography, guided imagery and play as mean of support and working through changes and difficult times. Additionally, at the Bayberry Clinic, I facilitated group and individual art therapy for health care professionals in recovery from substance dependency and mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
I strongly believe in the unique effect of the arts in the process of discovering ourselves and gaining understanding that often cannot be put into words. The arts are a way of letting go and expressing oneself in a safe and supportive setting aimed at facilitating growth and healing. No artistic skills are required.
